Service Description

A Noble Foundation is an approved provider through Alabama’s CHOOSE Act program. Eligible families may use ClassWallet education funds toward registration for this workshop. The Art of Equestrian Discovery is an immersive educational experience that introduces students to the world of horses through observation, hands-on learning, artistic expression, and horseback riding. Guided by A Noble Foundation's arts-integrated learning framework, students explore the unique relationship between humans and horses while developing creativity, confidence, curiosity, and respect for animals. Throughout the experience, students learn the fundamentals of horse care, grooming, safety, anatomy, communication, and equestrian practices while discovering how horses contribute to agriculture, recreation, history, and wellness. Students also enjoy a guided horseback riding experience designed to build confidence and foster a deeper appreciation for these remarkable animals. The experience concludes with a standards-aligned visual arts lesson inspired by the day's discoveries. Using careful observation and creative expression, students transform what they learned into original works of art while strengthening critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. By integrating science, agriculture, visual arts, and experiential learning, The Art of Equestrian Discovery creates meaningful connections between the natural world and the creative process—encouraging children to observe with intention, create with purpose, and develop a lifelong appreciation for learning beyond the classroom.
