Service Description

Join us for a 3-day immersive, hands-on learning experience designed to engage the whole child—mind, body, and spirit. The Art of Sound & Science is a state-aligned experiential program where students explore sound through guided listening, artistic expression, and simple scientific concepts. Using instruments such as sound bowls and chimes, students learn how sound travels through vibration, how it can be felt in the body, and how it can be expressed through art. Each session invites students to listen, observe, create, and reflect . Through the integration of art, music, and science, students develop creativity, sensory awareness, and a deeper connection to both the natural world and innovative ways of thinking. Throughout the program, students will: • explore sound, vibration, and sensory awareness • express sound through color, line, and pattern • observe how vibration moves through water and the body • engage in guided listening and creative reflection This program is aligned with the Alabama Course of Study and is designed for elementary-age students and an accompanied caregiver.
