Service Description

A Noble Foundation is an approved provider through Alabama’s CHOOSE Act program. Eligible families may use ClassWallet education funds toward registration for this workshop. Join us for a multi-day summer workshop where families experience three immersive, hands-on programs: Equestrian, Cattle Farm, and Sound & Science. Designed for children and caregivers, this state-aligned experience combines art, science, sensory exploration, agriculture, and creative learning through guided outdoor experiences. Equestrian Experience — Mobile, AL 36695 Families will visit a working equestrian farm in the suburbs of Mobile where students will learn: • general horse care • horse safety and health • nutrition and pasture maintenance • introductory horseback riding Students will participate in ALCOS-aligned art, observation, movement, and reflection activities inspired by horses and the farm environment. Sound & Science Experience Students will explore: • sound and vibration • rhythm and sensory awareness • creative expression through sound and art Using sound bowls, guided listening, movement, and art-making, students participate in ALCOS-aligned sensory and creative learning activities. Students will explore a working cattle farm, gaining firsthand insight into animal care, agriculture, and the journey from farm to table. Through guided observation and hands-on learning, they will deepen their understanding of where food comes from before expressing their experience through creative art projects inspired by the land, livestock, and the agricultural world around them. Throughout the workshop, families move through ANF’s guided six-step learning process: Observe • Plan • Create • Apply • Connect • Reflect
